On June 3rd Tokyo will host the opening ceremony of the 9th Festival of Russian Culture in Japan.
Traditionally, the festival runs from January to December, and in almost all prefectures in Japan.
The Japanese public can see performances by leading Russian musical artists, classical ballet soloists and Russian folk music ensembles. Art exhibitions, as well as Soviet and Russian movies are also featured as part of the festival
